An onion is JUST an onion!  Or is it?

More than just a tasty culinary plant, the onion contains natural sugar, vitamins A, B6, C and E, minerals such as sodium, potassium, iron and dietry fibre. In addition, onions are a good source of folic acid.

Lovely Legumes

Well-known legumes include alfalfa, clover, peas, beans, lentils, lupin bean, mesquite, carob, soybeans, peanuts and tamarind.  While some of these are not eaten by people many are.

A Taste of Citrus

Winter is….somewhere. Not here in the south. It has been in the 70s for the past week and there is no end in sight.
Either we can eat Citrus because the weather is warm and reminds us of spring or to bring the brightness of spring early.
